The game

A free-to-play open-world action RPG on a post-apocalyptic planet

Wuthering Waves is an open-world action RPG by Kuro Games, free to play with in-game purchases (a gacha system). You wake up as Rover, with no memory, on the planet Solaris-3, ravaged by catastrophes called the Lament. Along the way you team up with Resonators, people with resonance powers, to recover your memories.

Combat is fast and played with teams of three: only one Resonator is on the field, but you can switch at any time, and switching is part of combat (Intro and Outro Skills). Defeated enemies can leave Echoes, which you equip for stats and an extra skill.

The story spans three nations: Huanglong (Prologue, Chapter I and Chapter IV), Rinascita (Chapter II) and Lahai-Roi, in the Roya Frostlands (Chapter III).
