When did version 1.0 come out?
On October 15, 2026, on PC (Steam) and PlayStation 5.
Is there an Xbox version?
Not yet. Keen Games delayed the Xbox Series X|S version to spring 2027, to get more time for optimization.
Does it have crossplay?
Not at launch. Keen Games says it is working on it, but there is no date.
How many players can play together?
Up to 16 in co-op, according to the Steam page. You can also play solo.
I bought it in Early Access. Do I need to buy it again?
No, on PC you already have 1.0.
Do my old saves work?
Yes, they are converted to a new format. But Keen Games recommends starting over, because the world and the first hours changed a lot. And your skill tree is reset.
What is the level cap?
Level 50 for your character and 55 for fully upgraded gear.
How much does it cost?
€39.99 on Steam, since September 8, 2026 (it was €29.99 before).
Does the story end in 1.0?
Yes. According to Keen Games, 1.0 concludes the story of Embervale “for now”, and the Shroud and the Fell are still around.
What do I get for playing in Early Access?
Three decorative base props, from the Redeem Add-Ons button in the escape menu. You can place them in a friend's world if they do not have them; they can remove them, but not place them.
